Gallatin Valley, Montana

The Light and Peace Mission of Bois Negresse serves its community by providing the village’s only school. We in Gallatin Valley have worked hard for 7 years to keep the Bois Negresse students fed and teachers paid. But there’s more to do. Reliable school lunches will cost $29,000 for 2027. Ongoing contributions totaling only $400/month would cover the remaining teacher salaries.

That’s the way we do lunch!

The sad news:

Haiti is still too insecure for us to pack and deliver food reliably to our schools.

The good news:

  • Children in our partner schools keep enjoying lunch every weekday of this year.

  • Lunches are provisioned in Haitian markets, boosting both commerce and farming

  • Generous American friends gave in 2025 to provide them with lunch through 2026.

  • Haitian teachers host Summer Fun Camp with games, sports, music, and other actiities around lunch.

  • Students can rely on a full lunch program once the school year starts again.

  • WE CAN KEEP IT GOING FOR THEM!

Teaneck, New Jersey

Our friends in New Jersey have the biggest task: supporting the two communities of Chapottin and Trois Mares. Chapottin is a market town and Trois Mares’ school runs all the way through grade 9, so this group must provide lunch for almost 600 children. Please help! No gift is too small.

North Shore of Boston

People on Boston’s North Shore have supported the community of St. Louis d’Ayiti for 7 years. They provide lunch and teacher salaries, and they are working to put a second floor on the new school building! Please help with the ongoing need for student lunches, every day, every month.
